Just a quick few things from Dianne - and Thank You!

Hey guys and gals!
I'm back at work... it wasn't what they thought it might be, and I was a human pincushion for a couple days! Ugh hospitals. I'm backk to being in regular pain (LOL) but at least it's not my heart and not a pulmonary embolism as it first was suggested.

ANYway, I am still woefully behind on this gift project, but about 40 more went out today in the morning mail. I am packing, wrapping, cushioning, & doing the individual shipping labels one at a time so it's slow going.... quite a few won't make it to your Christmas tree BUT as you'll see, it will look good everywhere!

... more gifts being sent out tonight. I finally feel good enough to do the rest of my packaging! And, the PO was closed the last 2 days anyway.

Since XMas is over, I think ya'll ought to get the little suction cup with the little hook on it and hang these in the window or on a mirror ... I have quite a few on my office "wall - o - windows" as a few of you have seen already!!

OMG who let the dogs out! Er, who uncaged the masses... it's been wild crazy busy swamped & a zoo!

I've been buried and feel like I never caught up after my hospitalization last week.

If you haven't yet received my special Holiday gift, please don't fret... it's coming! I confess to still needing to print postal labels for at least 40 more... but they should all get out in the next few days.

OK - a few notables!

THANK YOU to Erica for her efforts in a few email issues with notifications and also the CEC (Customer Experience Center)... we are still working at resolving a few email issues for folks who are not getting the Toyota emails. When you have a lot of orders, your problem ratios rise too. Comes with the territory.

One thing I have noticed is that many of you who haven't gotten the "when your car is being built" emails are subsequently finding them in JUNK mail folders or SPAM folders. Especially when you're on AOL and HOTMAIL. By the way, Toyota Corporate can tell when you open it/click on it to read it. They can also see when something doesn't bounce back but also when it's sitting still, as if it's in junk or spam?

If you didn't see your Toyota email with a build month set (ie Feb/March, or March/April, etc) ... it doesn't mean that they are not building it. It just means you haven't seen the email announcing it. I need to be clear on that. And, even if you never see another email from Toyota about your car's production, it's still coming. I'll have alerts, myself, to cars coming BUT NOT TILL FEB/MARCH!

I am told right now that the CEC is going to be better about handling the calls. Due to the sensitivity of the information involved, your first call to CEC will be more related to them helping you try to find the lost initial email. If that doesn't work out, their protocol will move to a call back to you to resolve and get you a build month time frame.

Keep in mind that a build month time frame is just that: a vague estimate of the car's build time. The website showed you all that adding 21-40 days (WEST COAST ONLY) will get you closer to the arrival time. Many of my clients have a Feb/March car for build, so it's March/April arrival for most. (Cars going to the East Coast dealerships said to add 40-60 days to the build month).

Lastly, I am working diligently on finishing the database with models, colors, etc... so I can share the stats of what everyone ordered, for those curious to see what packages and colors my clients ordered! So far I think I have my database a little over 1/3 done (it's slow going, I have a lot of details I need!) and hands down, blizzard pearl white's the top ordered color.

Too late, Zen Master. Cars are ordered. By the way it's the easiest color to keep clean in CA. Hands down.

 

Baby, I have no idea what you mean by Poster Child for Prius. The Prius beauty shots in the press, the Toyota pressroom shots + the variety of literature seldom show the Blizzard color. It doesn't photograph too well. It looks wonderful when a good picture is taken to show the paint depth and nuances and sparkle... but the other colors photograph way better!
