Kerry involved with this mess in Iraq? Did he not vote to go to war? Was that before he voted for and then against the $87 Billion to provide the soldiers with body armor? The economy in a mess??? I see with the Dow being above 12,000, unemployment at all time lows, the economy growing at record paces, the debt decreasing to under 2% of GDP - the economy is such a mess. I think good old Jimmy Carter he has such a bad economy when he was President  Kerry saying something - JEEZ - wake up man - he again has insulted every American Soldier past and present. Even the Dems are treating him like 3 mile island. And why do you hate Rush so much? Who elected him to anything?
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(dbermanmd @ Nov 1 2006, 09:03 AM) </div> The truth hurts.
Kerry is being sent home now as no dem wants to be seen with him. Karl Rove used his "old Jedi mind tricks" to get Kerry to lose '06 for the dems.

An apology now is almost meaningless - he is at this very moment sticking his finger in the political winds - weighing the impact of his own stupidity on his political future - constructing a pro/con list. And to think he almost was CIC. How would it be possible for him to command young men and women he does not respect in a military he despises?

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(Wildkow @ Nov 1 2006, 09:38 AM) </div> You need to get out of the barn more. Bush only appears in front of well-guarded, sanitized groups. It's been documented dozens of times how Republican candidates don't want Bush to appear with them (unless they are in terminal situations) and a number of them found meetings they had to go to when he came anyway. He's a pariah in many districts. You don't know this? GOP candidates to Bush: 'We don't want you around' September 23, 2006 By JENNIFER LOVEN "Since President Bush's approval rating sank to the lowest level of his presidency in May, nearly six in 10 of his appearances helping Republican candidates have been closed to all media coverage." But you're right about liberal and conservative humor being different though. Liberal humor: John Kerry walks into a bar. The bartender says, "Why the long face?" Conservative humor: A Republican walks into a bar. The bartender says, "Clinton did it." "I kill myself. <_< " says the Kow. Anything I can do to help?
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(Alnilam @ Nov 1 2006, 12:11 PM) </div> Quite true. Bush is coming to my town, Springfield, MO, tomorrow for an overnight stay and to "rally support" for the very tight Senate race here. He'll appear with Jim Talent...this trip was announced about 3 days ago...as of the noon local news it's an invitation only closed event and all invites have already been given out. So, I'm going out on a limb here, it'll be a bunch of active republican supporters of Jim Talent and high ups in the state republican party. Not thinking that's going to swing a lot of votes to Talent's side.... In fact, I'd imagine that Talent is still worried that this 'support' will cost him a few points off his current 49%-49% tie w/McCaskil
What are you talking about? Both the Republican and Democratic candidates want Bush and Kerry to appear for them. It's just the Dems want Bush and the Republicans want Kerry.
