Any pics of the DVD in action...?

Did you ever upgrade the management for your air ride? That kit is insanely expensive considering it only uses one compressor, paddle switches and is that a 2 or 3-gallon tank?

Not that I will be doing any major mods to this car (not why I bought it), but I prefer 5 gallon tanks and two compressors. Not as compact, but much better functionality. I used to have easy street's auto pilot digital management, which isnot as nice as the accuair management, but still good.

Very informative post... I wish the US Prius Nav could play DVDs and then the TVK10 mod would be worth every penny. Just Nav in motion is cool too though. :)

So it cannot play DVD's, what is stopping it?

    HEY DUCKLES MCGEE !!!

I am currently considering the AccuAir Air Management System !!!

In regards to the Air Runner Air Suspension System, it is a premium product that is designed specifically for the vehicle. It is by no means a universal kit that fits other vehicles. The quality and craftsmanship from Air Runner is outstanding. I have had no issues or leaks since it was installed. This alone in my opinion justifies the price. I have heard of other friends and their experiences with other Air Suspension companies/products and well, I felt that Air Runner was best suited for me.

The air tank, the pancake tank, is a 4 gallon tank. Coupled with the ViAir 350 Air Compressor, fill time is just under 3 minutes. I only utilize the system when I go to shows so fill time isn't bad for this combination and frequency of usage for me personally.

Overall I am very pleased with the Air Runner System. It is just what I need for my daily driven / show car.

Hope you're having a great New Years !!!

    Thanks LPE350 !!

I agree, I wish the US Model was able to play regular DVD's !!!

The TVK10 product is still a great product to allow us to use the other great features !!!

Ahh, I drove that car about 500+ miles a week, and I would air it out every time I parked. I forget exactly what the fill time was, but I had a 5 gallon tank with two 400C's, so it would fill pretty quickly. I do like the compactness of your setup or something similar like the airpod, but I cycled the system too much to only have one compressor.

Not to go off topic, but here it is laid out with the subframe on the ground with custom made Bagyard struts that they painted burgundy for me. I miss that car, but priorities change.

Lowscale "show" trunk, that cut out a lot of the vibration/ sound.

Last question, what sort of height range do you have with those bagged struts? For instance, my setup could from the sub-frame sitting on the pavement to higher than stock. Not that I would ride around that high, but it was nice when I needed to get into steep driveways. I could also three-wheel it if I wanted. :)

Either way, looks great! Keep pushing the boundaries.

Great looking build. Read all of 61 post at work (it was a slow day). I go hangout in the places you do your upgrades. I'm bound to run in to your ride on the road one of these days. Gonna start part time grad school at UCI in march - zot zot!

I was just hanging out with Rodney a few days ago right before he headed to Vegas for the CES Show. He was talking about setting up another meet here soon. Has been a long while since our last real one. His car looks amazing in person. Didn't get to see or hear the full stereo install before he left as with any show car everything came down to the wire and he ended leaving later than he wanted. Should sound really good though. What I did see looked great. I'm sure he'll keep everyone up to date with when the next one may be after he gets back into town and has a chance to catch his breathe. Everyone who is local has got to make an effort to get out to the next meet. It's great seeing all the ideas and styles of our cars done by different people. Hope to see you all there when it happens.

    HEY PRIUS CHAT FOLKS !!!

    :):):):)

The latest Modification to HB II is now complete !!!

HBII was sponsored by PowerBass (www.powerbassusa.com) for the 2012 CES Show in Las Vegas, Nevada.

During the months of November 2011 - early January 2012 the folks from PowerBass, Newport Autosound, and my good buddy Gene put in some great hours working on the Audio Build for the show !!!

    Here are some pictures !!!

PowerBass Headquarters in Fontana, California ... Initial Meeting !!!

Then it was time to redesign the OEM Speaker covers ... We custom fabricated a black mesh grille so that the speakers could be seen better and it would match the Clazzio Black Leather interior ... We also installed LED White lighting behind the grilles !!!

Then it was time to organize the wiring from the Audison Bit Ten Sound Processor. This unit is amazing as it allows me to keep and maintain the original Toyota headunit while enhancing it's properties with a new Equalizer !!!
