Can you take pics of the interior lit by those lights as well?

 

Today I've seen BMW with LED on License Plate lights, they were very bright and standing out.
I don't think LED for License plate are available for Prius v.

 

I was more referring to how the interior looks with it. The shots off the site are rather difficult to tell.

Here is a shot of my interior with the LED upgrade (no flash)....Camera does not communicate how good of a soft, bluish glow you get. MUCH more visible than stock!

 

Now I just might have to consider getting that for my car as well.

Cactus has, I believe. Which reminds me, how do you replace the lights with the LEDs? I can't figure out how to take the bulbs out of the sockets.

Edit -

Nevermind, managed to pull them out... Those things stick in darn tight that it was a pain in the rear to pull out the bulbs for the map lights and door lights. I'm still having problems figuring out how to open the cargo light and the passenger dome light still.

Hi CactusHybrid,


I am interested in buying the same 6 Lights Wide Angle Shine Deluxe SMD LED Interior/Complete Package for 2010 and up Toyota Prius for my 2012 Toyota Prius V.

However, I wanted to ask a few questions before buying.


Does this include all the bulbs for the interior?
iJDMToy is selling a total of 6 bulbs, when I think I need 8 bulbs. 2 for front map, 2 for the dome and cargo, 2 for the door courtesy and 2 for the vanity (mirror) lights, no? it's included in the pictures, but I don't see where it's included.



I have emailed them, but haven't got a response yet. Can you please clarify? Thanks!

They will get back to you. The lights are only for the doors, the map lights above you, the one rear passenger light and the cargo area light on the left. I shot them an email to make sure what I was ordering, since they did not have a make for the Prius v and they pointed me to the 2010-2012 up section.

Thanks Keiichi. Unfortunately, the picutres on ijdmtoy.com show otherwise. You see both map and vanity lights. That's confusing and why wouldn't you want an entire set vs. all int. lights but vanity lights.

 

How often you use the vanity lights is like... Literally non-existent. However, the Map Lights, the rear passenger lights and the courtesy door lights tend to be more often used. So they probably felt you don't need to have them. Their stock photos are pretty much for the Prius and sometimes they don't bother with specifics. I mean, when you look at their support site - Nothing for how to install lights for the Prius, most of them are generic.

 

Osteo - if you are referring to the small amber ones in the head lights I did replace those with LEDs at the same time I had the HIDs put in. Lucky for me DDM is in San Diego so I just popped the amber ones out, took them over to DDM, and they gave me the right LEDs for it. They cost about $6. Easy fix. But just like with the interior lights, make sure they are plugged in right and if not just flip them the other way.
