You have to remove the intake air filter component to get access to your OCC? Ouch! I hate removing car parts that are in the way.

I like my drop and go OCC mount! Just lift up the OCC and unscrew the collector housing.(y)

I don’t mind the 3 minute activity knowing I don’t have any excess liquid on the downstream side of the PCV check ;).

    It’s good piece of mind(y).

If you must have the intake resonator, maybe try putting studs in place of the bolts for instant removal? Gravity should work in your favor...

    Pixel XL ?

Meh, I’d be concerned about fit and fitment with stationary objects and trying to get the resonator to easily get on and off;).

    Those 10 mm bolts aren’t that fiddly(y).

My OCC is mounted on the lower cross beam, but: I seem to be ok with a 6 monthly drains, synchronized with oil changes. Also, my (Moroso) OCC has a tap and spigot on the underside. I take the engine underpanel completely off for oil changes, so it's trivial to also open the the OCC tap.

If you don't enjoy periodically removing the engine underpanel (hey, who doesn't): there's another member here with the same OCC (IIRC): he removed the tap and spigot, replaced it with an additional spgot (hose barb with npt threads at other end), connected a short length of fuel line, and the tap and spigot to the end of the hose, basically so he could run the tap to one of the openings in the engine underpanel.

FWIW, my amount collected is roughly 100cc every 3000 miles.

    It’s freeee!
Man, that bolt under the EGR was a huge pain.

107k..... I’d say it could’ve gone to 150 at the MOST, but that would’ve been pushing it. I can shoot a flashlight thru it and still see....mostly

Wish I had a spare... that’s one minor detail I suppose I forgot to ask about! Should I just purchase a new EGR off eBay?

I’m having a really tough time getting brake clean to clean out all the passages. What else can I try?

    I usually get 2 cans;).

1 I spray in all the passges first then if really built up, I put a plug in te end and let it sit for awhile:).

Cleaning my spare that way now(y).

Hot water soak seemed to do a lot of good! But I'm soaking it overnight in brake cleaner for good measure. What method did you use to seal off one end?

Oxi-Clean solution, as strong as you can mix it, and let it soak till it stops bubbling, rinse and repeat as needed.(y)(y)(y)

Just for the cooler though, which is stainless steel. For the valve, brake clean should be good enough, and oxi-clean might start tarnishing it.
