Is toyota trying to be anything but #1?

I've only been aboard the train since about 2007/8 or so with the Yaris followed by a Prius liftback (2010) and now a 2012 C, but I'm just about ready to disembark come 2017 short of any unexpected circumstances.

 

Yeah I agree, their starting to look more like a Nissan.

It's a familiarity thing. That's why marketing types try like crazy to get their artist's song played on the radio a lot. It may sound mediocre at first, but it'll sound better once you get used to it. Most people have a hard time acclimating to a new design, sound, etc. right away. Some people acclimate much more quickly, but they are in the minority.

 

agreed. i always found beatles songs unappealing at first, but the more i listened to them, the more i liked them. 50 years later, i appreciate them more than ever. the songs i like when i first hear them get tiresome quickly.

 

lets hope so... i just hope it wont be ugly weird but interesting weird... Mirai's rear cancer lights make it ugly weird.
