Is this the ugliest prius?

well that means that both the ugliest prises ever built were built by the same person.... George Bari's and he has no taste they are both butt ugly...

 

only vintage 90's Lambo's should have gull wing doors - all other cars look lame with them as modifications

 

i like the 2nd barris car except the doors. the green one he ruined the aerodynamics at least. even if you can get past the ugly nose job. i would like to see more outrageous paint jobs though.
to me, the prius is kind of a 21st century "bug". think how people reacted to the vee dub back in the 60-70's. it too was so ugly it was cute. and people either loved em or hated em.

 

I honestly think its cool. I don't like the front bump out the colors but take away the front and just solid white black silver whatever would look nice.....

 

I can take or leave Barrris' and any other custom Prius.
There's no accounting for taste -- and a lot of money.

However, there can be no doubt that Prii like this are
the ugliest:

My 2 cents worth...

1) The first is uglier but a better fit - it's trying to play on the "futuristic" theme that Toyota kind of did in a more subtle way.

2) The second is trying to make the Prius into something it's not. C'mon the Prius is never going to be a sports car. Now, if he'd done that body conversion and made it have a 0-60 time of sub 5 seconds then I'd be all for it (but to do that he'd probably have to ditch the hybrid...)

3) I agree with whomever said the Prius is a bit like the original VW bug. It would be cool to see more personalization.

I just bought my Prius and she's cosmetically challenged. She's had a hard life and she shows it. So, when I'm done with converting her to a PHEV I'll invest in a whole vehicle wrap (but not until I've done the PHEV part). I'm toying with tie-die. What do you think? I happen to like tie-die. I'm not a hippy (honest!)...

 

um, no I dont like them at all. Just wash dry and polish a little and its all good.

 

i'd like to get mine painted a nicer color, but the wife would probably chop me up with a cleaver in my sleep. (she's chinese. you ever see a chinese woman work a cleaver? scary.)

I actually like the Barris Prius except for the color . Classic silver and black bottom might look not bad with those mods? H

 

You have to seen other Barris work to understand where he's coming from. Those two Prii are MILD. He could have done those without breaking a sweat. Barris was customising cars before most of us were born. They may not be everybody's cup of tea, but neither are completely stock plain-jane cars.

It's pretty ugly......but I love how they made it a coupe. That aspect looks good.

 

I don't understand the doors. Would be a difficult in-out? Other-wise not bad! H
