We're discussing the future of the Earth and Humanity with the same folks who pass all those bond measures we can't afford. With that sort of short-sighted thinking, how could we EVER expect 'em to be able to think beyond their lifetimes, and extrapolate over the course of millennia?
Global Warming is not a political issue. It's scientifically based, and many large corporations are now actively involved in developing technology to combat it--as a matter of survival--business and otherwise.
