Search PC for 'Torklift', it has been mentioned and linked from several threads here this week. I have last year's version which needed a small notch cut from a heat shield, but the latest revision supposedly takes no cutting.

Sorry, I've no 2" to recommend... I was simply saying all-things-being-equal, and you have the choice, get a 2".

Hmmm... there goes ceteris paribus out the window... all-things-are-not-equal, given that May, 2012 I paid $104 shipping included, for the Curt from Amazon... and the Torklift is $249 plus shipping.

    Without Curt's economies of scale, $150 for 3/4" ;)

agree $249 is way too much for me for the Tork. I would end up with a Curt 1.25" receiver from amazon and get an adaptor for my 2" bike rack..

That's what I just ordered from Hitchsource. $180 something shipped for both items.

Soon I'll be able to haul my bike in and out of the car. I've found that you fit a bike with front wheel off inside the Prius with only one seat folded down. Awesome versatility!

I ended up buying a 1 1/4 hitch, and e-trailer's E-9 unpainted 2" hitch receiver. I cut the receiver off and welded the 2" on. It fits my bike rack without an extra adapter hanging out.
