If you use an app like Waze this isn't an issue and the audio will come through the speakers. The downside is that Waze will talk right over whatever you might be listening to. Waze provides great real time crowd sources traffic data.
I was wondering if your iphone 5 is still working fine. I've had my iphone 5 for a month now. It was working fine, then I plugged it into the usb to charge and now my phone calls are crackly. I tried plugging into a cigarette lighter adapter with no luck. To specify, either making hands free calls or talking listening to the handset, both are crackly since I plugged it in. All other audio (music player, amazon cloud player, youtube...) sounds crystal clear. Just phone calls are messed up. Anyone else have that problem?
I use both Android and an iPhone and love both. But what do you hate about Apple? - The fact the they update their phones for free and keep them updated for years? - That they are very reliable and have the best customer support and even free classes for their phones? - That they are engineering and designed in the US? - That they have been a leader in innovation? Galaxy Nexus ? 2
Thanks, I've been using Waze since it launched and have been enjoying all the improvements along the way.
I've used both the 3Gs and 5 using bluetooth and a usb cable (Apple issued usb cable/charger) with no problems. We have 2 iphones in our household (different numbers) and calls come through just fine and we can scroll through our music file folders as well.
