I have the concern expressed by others. There is a significant issue with daily mpg data. It makes no sense. I see multiple instances where the dashboard indicates 999.99 one day and 4.2 mpg the preceding day when I drove the exact same route all on electricity. This issue happens regularly, and it seems like many others have the same problem. It seems like this app needs a lot more work and testing. We appreciate your attention to this.
Maybe that's why you should roll out software on a MONDAY!!! Just makes sense to me. Of course they probably had a due date of Friday, but in the grand scheme of things does it really matter if you roll it out the next Monday. False priorities, unfortunately a product of big business!
I tried it on my iPad 1 and get the same crash. I see the eco desktop in the back and then a spinning "loading" dialog with cancel button and about 2 seconds later, the app crashes and drops me back unto iOS. I tried clicking cancel but it doesn't make any difference. Either the app requires iPhone 4s or my car needs an update.
The dashboard is only for "advanced" models i assume? I do not see it anywhere for me. also, can someone tell me does Iheart radio not work with Base models? Everything else seems to work when I plug in my iPhone but iHeart radio does not show up at all on Nav screen. thanks Dan
Yes, ECO Dashboard is only for those with a plug-in Advanced. My dads base now has iHeart radio after I performed the upgrade for him which came on the USB drive from Toyota via the USPS.
Interesting....can you expand on this from Toyota? I enjoy iHeart radio and use it alot on my iPH. But on the car it simply does not show up. being an "upgrade"...how would I do this ? thanks! Dan
Toyota mailed him a packet with the update for his display audio system on a USB drive. Here's a video: ! Did you not receive the USB drive in the mail? Maybe your car was purchased later and already has the update, but I would think then it should have i heart radio available. There were threads posted here once people started to receive the update: Entune USB Update | PriusChat Heads up...Entune Update delivered to your door on a flash drive! | PriusChat
wow thanks! I got my car august 11th, just about 1 month ago. I have not received anything in the mail, can you tell me how long that took others to receive the USB update from time of purchase? Do you know if there is a way for me to lookup the version of my software on my system currently? this way i will know for sure what i have. But obviously i must have older one since i have never had iHeart. Is there a toyota toll free number i can call to ask to send me the usb? thanks Dan
Ok I just called toyota..... They told me there are 3 waves of USB mailings to new customers.....the first 2 waves have been sent, and I am in the 3rd wave....She thinks i should see my USB update for ENTUNE in about 2-3 weeks. She told me all dealers have the update and i could have them do it sooner....So i called me dealer, and sure enough they are clueless...they said they never heard of any update....such idiots. The first girl who answered said she never heard of ENTUNE, I asked her how she can work at a toyota dealer and not know what entune is, she replied "I drive a chevy" ...... geesh! Dan
There was some kind of "Apps" update today for me. Not sure what exactly it did. But I was only able to connect the Entune App on the phone once. Haven't been able to sense.
Looks like something got reset on the ECO dashboard this AM. My overall numbers look much more reasonable now.
It's still there, unless you're thinking of something different than me. Tap Fuel Consumption in the Summary section and you can see daily numbers for the past 6 months. Same for ECO History.
Ah, thanks. The UI is a little confusing. I figured out that there weren't 4 separate detailed info screens that match the 4 arrows (>) placed in a square grid. I thought that the top two arrows showed the same detailed info and the bottom two arrows showed the same detailed info, since they group them together this way. In fact, the left two arrows show the same detailed info and the right two arrows show the same info.
I just got the Android Entune update yesterday. I'm in Illinois, but the Charging Station Map app on the phone and in the car is only showing me stations 600 miles away in New York, Virginia and Maryland. It correctly shows my current location on the map. Is everyone else finding local stations on the Charging Station Map? Is it possible that Entune is only listing stations in the original 15 launch states?
