Hello all! I've had my Blizzard-Mobile for 2 weeks now! I love it! I left the dealership on a full tank, drove 220 miles, then capped off the tank today with 5 gallons for $16!!! Also, I went to the dealer yesterday and had them reduce the back-up beep to ONE beep!! So much nicer backing up now. And they did it for free, no problem! Lastly, while washing my new futuristic cruising machine we noticed some tiny air bubbles in the window tint...I brought it to my salesman's attention and he said that they will also re-do the tint, free of charge! So awesome!

I've owned my 2012 BWP for a few days now and I'm loving it. Bought it two days before the hurricane (we got hit pretty hard) and it desperately needs a bath already. This thread swayed my choice in color more than any other factor. My wife really wanted the gray but I loved the white with the solar roof package.

I believe it was your HID thread I was reading before I ordered my 'kit'.
Did you ever remedy your upward glare on the kit you had installed?

I see that TRS offers a retro quik kit now (what I had on my Subaru and LOVED) but I decided to try out the OEM projectors before I go cracking my brand new lights open.

 

I never fixed it. I don't get flashed and I think the part that flares up is a lot dimmer so people are not blinded. I need to have someone drive my car while I drive in the other direction. I'm satisfied with the lights overall but I would like to get a true 5000K bulb. These DDM bulbs are for the birds!

The OE projectors do not compare to even the Morimoto Minis but they are good enough.

 

Good to hear. I will be finding out for myself tomorrow. And I've been there with the DDM stuff. Yikes.
Hopefully TRS quality matches what they gave me before. I won't stop until my lighting is perfect (or close to). One thing I don't skimp on is my lights.
And I was heartbroken when I found out the only way to not have halogen heads was to get the 5. I didn't want anything else it came with.
Not getting flashed is promising though!

I would have gladly paid more for LED headlights!!! They need to totally make it an option for all Prius models! Sometimes I wish I could drive with just the DRL's on, they look so awesome!
