I wonder if you are Smaug1 from ADVRIDER especially scooter section.
    I love my G2 Prius--a 2009. One day I am going to get a V or a Prime.

One and the same! Small world. I don't have a scooter any more, went to the CBR500R, so I'm on that forum and sport-touring.net now.

No problems with towing that light trailer? I was scared off by Toyota's warning not to tow with it. Maybe I can get away with it after all...

4 big adults, trailer and bike, lots of luggage in the car and in the top carrier: I got 32 MPG on a recent long trip.

The only time I had an issue was climbing the Rockies on the way home by Aspen Summit and Eisenhower Tunnel where my speeds stayed at about 40 MPH. Then, back to normal.

Also, my old Prius consumed a little oil--No big deal.

Rear passengers could have used a little more leg room. I easily drove 3-4 hours at a time before stopping for breaks/fuel.

Super easy on/off with the trailer and bike. Driving the car --99% of the time you could not even tell there was a trailer.
