If you got the vin number it is worth it to log in. This will give you the service history but also so complete description of the vehicle including options I believe. Worth a try. You would every 2 years shop your car insurance out with other insurers to make sure your not getting price gouged. Geico is very good. I guess you didn't read what I posted. I stated that a VIN number search by my insurance company had not shown all my vehicle options. Sometimes this happens. Regardless, my issue is resolved now.
Bad news. I'm not getting the discount for having VSC! Apparently Farmers policy on this discount is that VSC has to be on the base model vehicle and not from an option package. So because in 2007 option package 1 did not come with VSC, even though packages 2 thru 6 had VSC, I don't qualify for the discount. They want people to have these safety features because it saves lives and money, yet Farmer's has this idiot rule. However, I did find out that this discount would only save me a few bucks a year anyway, so no big loss. I've had Farmer's Insurance for decades without any issues. But I have to say, their rule for what vehicles qualify for the electronic stability control discount, is nothing short of idiotic!
Not trying to be an a$$hole, but is the insurance savings worth all the trouble you are going through?
Well as I said, I'm not getting the discount. But had I known the discount was only a few bucks a year, I wouldn't have wasted my time trying to get it. However, considering insurance premiums keep going up through no fault of my own, I will take whatever discount I can to keep them low.
