    Spend the $300 on a lawyer. Insurance companies are scum and you need a good bottom-feeder to dine on them.

    If BB is $24,000 and they are offering you $22,750, that's $1,250 under, not $2K under.

    Still, if the accident was not your fault, the insurance ought to replace the vehicle.

    Lots of people shop for the cheapest insurance, and then they're surprised when the insurance company tries to avoid paying. I never shop for insurance by price. I shop by how the company treats its clients when they have a claim.

    I never got the cheapest insurance either. I use USAA because they have been a good insurance company to this point. I can subtract too, but thanks for pointing out my error. People sure like to kick you when you are down on this board!
