* We all know your relieved to have your NEW Prius, after you've driven it for a few days, give us your evaluation of your NEW car. And, if you have ANY questions, that's what we at PC are here to help you with. David (aka Blind Guy)
Of course they are. If you buy a car TODAY, then they get your money TODAY. If you get on a waiting list and leave, there is now a good chance that you will either find another car someplace else or just lose interest and decide not to buy. I got on a wait list for specifically a silver V with ATP and was told 2-3 people were ahead of me and they were allocated cars every 10 days. A week later I saw the car on the dealer's inventory web page and asked my salesman about it. He said it was designated for a wait lister ahead of me. A few hours later he called and said the car was mine. So I'm assuming that everyone above me chose not to buy.
Is there still a waiting list for Priuses in some areas? There seems to be plenty on lots in New England.
My dealer finally has 2 unsold ones on their lot. They have added expensive things such as $495 pinstripes that probably cost them $50.
