    Funny, it was actually Jeff Cobb who relayed that impression to me, though I think his approach to the conversation was more like "the Malibu engineers couldn't come up with a reason why" those things you listed weren't included.

    US ECO has nothing to do with JC08 testing at all.. there are no weight categories in the USA.

    However I would hazard to guess that weight and tire size is what brings the ECO model up, just like with Camry has different ratings for different models, where tire size and weight is the difference between the two... so Camry XLE is 40/38 while Camry LE is rated 43/39. Difference is in tire size (and model?) and weight due to different features equipped.

    btw, not sure if you guys noticed, but real life pics of Prius on the road look really good.... so far I didnt see anything weird, unlike in press photos. You can click to see individual photos but both white and blue model actually looked attractive to me.

    So the difference between ECO and regular 15" wheels and LRR tires only?

    It looks like the weirdness of rear beltline transition only visible from specific angle. Problem is as a driver you will see it every time approaching car.

    only thing looking weird for me is lower end of rear bumper, but even that looked fine on some twitter pics i saw yesterday... couldnt really see anything wrong on all of those real life pics, looked kind of sporty really. Unlike original impression when I just saw Toyota pics, which was Wth.

    But thats not the first time for Toyota media pics.

    lol, we talked about all of these before. You should not trust what some random blog writes and think this is official information. This is the problem with internet, when people read fake news and think they are official. None of this was ever said by Toyota USA (except for handling), but we discussed all of that before.

    That's because it really is a great looking car !
    Especially in white and silver which matches the black alloys and the black c-pillar best .
    At least in my opinion !
    I am sure that many who opposed it from the beginning will finally change their mind when they see it in person !

    Don't underestimate the power of charting constant speed, mph vs MPG because it gives a baseline, the minimum performance one should expect. Then one can test individual changes to see what works. Unexpected, it also identifies those who only post to complain about MPG because they refuse to replicate the benchmark. We can hope Toyota will include a similar chart in the 2016 Owner's Manual.

    I thought that was similar to what you have in the PiP? It's the basic navigation on the 6.1" DA units.

    Yup. It does look better in person.

    It has Entune Nav. After they made it interlaced, it sped up to the point it is usable. Live traffic would make it painfully unusable.

    I miss my Garmin Nav from my Gen2 Kenwood head unit. Factory Garmin Nav offering in Gen4 would be awesome. Toyota has been listening.
