I'm ready to drink the Prius Koolaid

    Congratulations on a wise choice ! MPG will drop during cold weather but will remain better than most cars.

    I'm sorry for the very delayed update -- life with 2 little girls is awesome and relentlessly busy all at the same time. The bottom line is that I LOVE LOVE LOVE my new Prius III. Every time I drive it I love it just a little bit more. The best surprise has been how zippy it is! Even got a warning for speeding... oops!

    One challenge is that one of my daughters is still in a rear-facing carseat and my hubs is 6'9'' and so we're limited on how the four of us fit -- exactly ONE way, as it were -- though this problem will necessarily self-correct in a year or so and not that big of a deal for us. (Aside: My hubs doesn't really fit in *any* vehicle very well. Any non-gas-guzzling options out there for a family of four for when his/my-old Jeep kicks the bucket?)

    The only thing I don't like is the plastic texture of the steering wheel. I'm plan to install a WheelSkins cover soon. I saw a picture of one in the PriusChat shop where it was installed UNDER the spokes, which is a much cleaner look. I need to mod the wheel regardless, but wondered if anyone out there did that successfully?
