was 23 degrees here when I went out to Sam's Club (too bad it's closed! Grocery store where I work is open tho.) 8.7 miles EV (no ICE cubes) And AC off ( for those pussy's that need the low setting of the fan, get over it, mine's off, don't need it, got nice, cozy Eddie Bauer winter coat:p)

just went for a test ride on my usual commute. 45 in the garage and 36 outside. batteries had finished charging about 1 1/2 hours before. instead of babying it, i goosed it out of my road onto the road where the ice comes on, hoping to burn a few extra watts before hitting the downslope. when i got to the top of the slope at 35 mph, i let up and began to glide, then regen as speed began to pick up. i didn't want to hit 40, but was worried about regen at the same time. amazingly, the ice stayed off and i completed 10 miles all ev.

I love the concept of goosing it to prevent wasted fuel. Talk about counterintuitive.

27 deg F this morning. Coolant temp was 60 deg F leaving from the garage. Both heated seats were on and did a pure EV trip.

EV range estimated was 12.1 miles. :)

21 degrees here, finished what I couldn't accomplish yesterday (Sam's Club) had to scrape frost on both the inside and outside of front windshield ( car wash yesterday, probably contributed to inside frost) Ev range estimated for me was also 12.1 :) Also pure EV, no heated seats ( I'm tough:coffee:)

Nice. So, "not charging it to full" is working great for you?
