I Spotted Your Modded Gen III!

Whats up! Car is looking good so far. You have any other mods planned? For some reason I was thinking you had mesh wheels and was surprised to see 5-spokes when I looked at my dashcam footage. They look nice. I have the Tein H.Tech springs on my ride and it does feel a little high to me as well, but I'd rather not slam it and have to worry about every single bump and dip on the road.

Nah, that wasn't me at Walmart. @Dylan Doxey mentioned a few months ago he saw a doppleganger of my car around town, but that was before I did more visible mods. I know I've seen a few WGMs around here with tinted/plastidip'd tails and removed the hubcaps.

I feel like our SD group is getting to a pretty decent size now...

 

I spotted a seafoam green Prius with a sharkfin and plasti-dipped emblems on West Hills Parkway a couple of weeks ago. I was thinking that's definitely one of the brothers who just hasn't come home to priuschat.com yet.

If there's support for a S.D. Prius club, count me in. Maybe we can get a meet-up going at Lake Murray.

 

I spotted two modded WMG Gen-IIIs on the Eastbound 52 today.
The first one had rear TRD swaybar, rear wiper delete, and a shark fin antenna.
The second one had plasti-dipped emblems.

 

Today I spotted @Sean Callahan on College Avenue.

 

I've been eyeing a set of JDM headlights.. hate those amber stocks LOL. I'm okay with it for now.. I've been trying to get my W108 (1970 Benz 280se) up and running so that's the money pit and don't think the wife's gonna allow for 2 projects

I'm def. starting to see more and more modded Prius's around town..

Saw a white slammed 2010 with what looked like volk gt-v's the other morning.. by the Costco on 15 and 94.

 

That might have been @Sean Callahan. His is probably the only slammed Prius in SD.

 

Modded Prii are becoming the norm, I see at least one or two each day

 

I'm sure it wasn't Sean's car.. I've seen pics of his car and it's got the Lexon lip.. plus the one I was a 2010-11 model. Made me want to slam my Prius!!

 

It is not written anywhere that driving a Prius is not allowed to be fun.

 

Saw this PiP with purple plastidipped oem wheels at the Sonic drive-thru in North Park, San Diego around 5:40pm today.

 

She is about to scrape those purple wheels!

 

Spotted a white Gen3 Prius yesterday, lowered with a body kit and 18"s off 101 N heading to the city.

 

No pictures but maybe someone thats a member on here; newer white hatch with a roof rack lowered on 17s/18s spotted today off CA-12 in Fairfield

 

Actually ran into that Prius again that I saw a few months ago that had all the chrome trim pieces. Didn't get to see the driver since I couldn't catch up.

 

That looks like a BeatSonic antenna. I wonder where he got it?

 

Man this makes me want a dashcam.

 

I got one because I had a lot of close calls with people cutting me off. I think it's worth the investment. Very easy install with a USB cable to the 12v underneath the bridge.

 

I have to second that, I installed mine after someone pulled out in front of me on a 45mph speed limit road. I was maybe 40ft away from the road they turned off from and then they proceeded to come to a complete stop once they were completely in my lane. Pretty sure they were trying to pull an insurance scheme on me, that same day I ordered my dash cam.
