I figured it had a lot to do with allocations. Thanks for throwing out those details, Jim. And you are right...I think the Gulf Coast is the only coast without a huge demand for the Prius. From what my salesman explained to me, he had 3 special orders for the Prius. I was #3 in the list. I was the only one that ordered the Solar Roof package. They searched the entire region, and there weren't any IV's w/Solar, available. That's when the arduous, 4 month wait began. lol.

I can relate to what you said about "seeing at least one Prius every mile." It's the same thing here in NOLA, but 99% of them are 04s-09s. I'm hoping to see a lot more of them (2010 Prius in general) around here in the future.
