It's totally worth the wait to get what you want! In 2006, I waited almost 7 weeks to get the exact Prius that I wanted and I'm glad I did. Unless you absolutely have to have a car right now, why settle for something less on a $22,000+ purchase? Pushy salesman have instilled the "settle for what you can get" value in the American consumer because they want to make a sale. I have no problem waiting to get the car that I want. Bryan
Don't trust your dealer. He's out for himself, not you, and will lie to you if it serves his needs. I gave a dealer a deposit in June and waited one month for a car that he promised to find me, only to have him call and tell me last week that he's returning the car because he can't find it. It was a Prius with the sunroof package, which are now near impossible to find. Do what you need to do to get your car, if you really want it.
Waited 9 weeks for ours. Have had it 3 weeks now. It was the first one the dealership got with the roof. Gave the dealer 3 exterior color options. It just takes time.
