I tried new batteries in both remotes. No luck. Going to call the dealer tomorrow. Hopefully they will be helpful. What can I except to pay for them just to reprogram a key?

Reprogram normally runs 0.5 hr "at most places" so 40-60 if I had to take a shot in the dark.

Depends if they also supply a new key fob, these are $120+ on their own.

Hey folks, rain in the back can damage your traction battery! This is a known issue and may well be why your car has a new battery!!

I wouldn't worry about any of the other stuff until you get the rain leak fixed. That should be your top priority!

Can't believe no one has said this.

    I speak from personal experience.

P.s. Re Bluetooth, your phone Bluetooth needs to be set to being "discoverable", otherwise the car will not see it. Read your phone manual to check how to do this.

I believe the car needs to be discoverable, and you search for the car from the phone, not the other way around.

I go the bluetooth working. I did not find an aux port. Also the radio seems to be pretty fuzzy on all stations so I either need to find an aftermarket readio or a really good transmitter. Really Just an aux port would work.

My radio does not have the best reception either. Seems like the nature of the beast since there are no indications of something wrong. The GROM AUX adapter is about $70. I have not tried it personally though. Depending on the radio you have, you may have a tape deck, and you could use a tape adapter.

I would recommend getting an aftermarket stereo that has Bluetooth and aux port. Aftermarket radio quality should be a lot clearer than the stock radio.

Usually Bluetooth will work either way round.

Anyone have any ideas on how I could do this cheaper?

Is that a quote from the local Toyota dealer?

You might look at the craigslist services section, do a search for 'fob' or 'transponder... might find a local locksmith with some skills for less.

I was scared to try this and I thought it only worked if you had 1 completely working key to go off of? Neither one of my keys completely work.

I just found this in the paper work. (This is choppy but word for word off the invoice)

Service invoice from where they bought a new key on 11/12/15
    Customer Needs New Key
Has Code B2775 Remote Part Don't Work But the Remote
To start the vehicle does need more Diag for remote Diag.
    Programmed remote to start vehicle.

    Note on back of invoice:
B2775 Interior verification to theft deterrent ECU Smart Key ECU
Need Extra (Ding or Diag) time Smart Key ECU and Transponder ECU
Not communicating. Key starts vehicle but does not unlock doors or start car without key in.
    Programmed key.

Chicken dance requires a working key. I (or anyone else with Techstream) can program new, unused fobs without dealer website access. That access comes into play when you're talking about used, eBay fobs and not all dealers can/want to deal with them.

You can buy a "mini VCI" cable from various sources like Amazon, eBay, and so on, and use it. Techstream software is normally included.

Having taken my fobs a part, to replace the housings, I know that the part needed to start the car by putting the key into the slot is just a little chip like the chip in any key and gets programmed to the vehicle's immobilizer. That's easy and they have done that for you. The smart part of the key comes in where the fob circuit board is programmed with the vehicles ID and the fob's ID is programmed to the smart ECU... this 2-way programming is a bit more complicated and is why a used fob is more of a pain to get working. Also explains why the fob in the slot will start the car even with the battery dead. Needs the battery for smart functions but not for the immobilized chip.
