I have to sell my 2010 Prius II! How much is it worth?

    I understand wht you're saying but seriously, when has a manufacturere ever taken responsibility in the even to a accident? I'd also want to read the fine print in my auto policy. Most cars on the road don't have have the safety equipment of the Prius and they are still insured. I understand what you're saying, but that's not a question I would ask my insurance agent.

    I'm posting what Toyota, my dealer and my Ins. company have said to me. Apparantly modding safety equipment is a big no no.
    This could be serious as it's the drivers side airbag which is built into the drivers seat.
    It's not that they won't insure it but if you were injured and it was found that you disabled the safety equipment, they could deny your claim.
