HAHA! You would never hear from me again if that were to happen!... My GM would not only kill me but then Toyota would swoop in and have me disappear!
I'll do so tomorrow... its a Blizzard Pearl with the Harvest Beige Interior.... its got the ATP and PCP
Most of the interior photos of that color combination were taken in bright sunlight and look very washed out. I'm interested to know your opinion of the color combination with the Beige, Black, & White.
Those are just some of the ones I just took... let me know if you need anymore... it'll be better when the sun goes down
I mean... I'm a little biased... I generally like the beige interiors... This one would take some getting used to but since the dash is mostly beige as well it makes it definitely more airy inside! Makes it almost feel larger on the inside!
So, when you press the button to disarm the traction control...does the vehicle only run on ice with no electric assist?
Harvest Beige: Pro: It's a contrast interior like the Gen 2 (2004-2005). Also, the headliner and A pillar are beige (they're light grey in the Gen 3) Con: The white accents don't match well with the beige.
I didn't look closely in Las Vegas but I'm guessing all Prius models now have a plastic trim for the A & B pillars? (Gen 3 models with leather or SofTex have an upgraded felt covered pillar)
That is the same thing I noticed on all the ones I've seen... but the door panels are all different between Twos and the Threes and up
Aww. I guess they changed them all to that criss-cross patterned plastic design? Not really a fan of that but somehow that's "better" than smooth plastic. How so? I know they're "soft touch" (somewhat). Is that what you mean?
Yeah. I would say the dash and the upper part of the front door panels are a Soft(ish) material while the door armrests are really soft
Ohh, just the front doors? So the rear doors are hard plastic regardless of trim level? The beige insert, is that cloth/softex or hard plastic?
Sitting in it right now... The black part is hard on the back doors... While the beige is that softish material. The armrest is a different textured softex or vinyl
Oh, a biggie: assuming there's carpeted floor mats, do they have a rubber inset on the driver's mat, where your right heel rests, using the gas pedal?
No rubber insert. I was thinking about getting on periscope in about 5 minutes so you guys can ask questions. I have to get ready to present this thing! I'm @tmacncali on Twitter and periscope
Ahh I see, cool thanks! So in summary for those reading, and using that picture above as reference: Two & Two Eco: All doors: Upper black part: Hard plastic Beige insert: Soft-ish material Armrest: Padded vinyl (or possibly SofTex) Three and higher: Front Doors: Upper black part: Soft-ish touch plastic Beige insert: Soft-ish material Armrest: Padded vinyl (or possibly SofTex) Rear Doors: Upper black part: Hard plastic Beige insert: Soft-ish material Armrest: Padded vinyl (or possibly SofTex)
Thanks for all the great Info. I called 3 local dealers, and they all acted like I was making it up that some dealers have a model on display... lol.
