Yeah...and I certainly do NOT want to be an early adopter. There are already some posts over on ioniqforum about various problems people have been having. And some of them are serious....like 'battery is dead' type problems.

Thank you Mr.mjoo.....I'm only speaking from my Experience in car industry and I'm aware of many things that many car company's keep under the carpet....
For Hyndai to compete against Toyota is....
In this scenario where Potential buyers all only looking for Price figures ....that don't care about History, reliability, and How long they where in business making Hybrid car's.....
So My is spent on Two Prius Prime car's and I'm not looking on other alternative....where there is none so far....Hyundai is already experiencing problems in Europe...reason for so long delay to North America......

Folks should be aware that this changed radically with the current Sonata Hybrid. I took a long look at one a couple of weeks ago and was very impressed overall, but particularly with the improved battery packaging, which now comes down to a small toolbox-size case in the area behind the right wheel well. The remainder of the trunk is unencumbered and the rear seats fold down, leaving the utility of this very nice midsize sedan barely compromised. This is far better than the Camry, Accord, or Fusion/MKZ hybrids, which still have significantly compromised cargo areas. Hyundai now wins on this score - it's the only midsize hybrid sedan I've seen that I'd even consider.

You might want to wait for the 2018 Camry Hybrid based on TGNA & Gen 4 HSD. They may reclaim that trunk space in the redesign.

Yup. The 2018 TCH will most likely have the battery sit under the rear seat.

Already bought the Prius Three, so we won't back in the market for a while. I hope Toyota does clean up the cargo area as you say. The TCH would be significantly more competitive if that's the case. A similar improvement in the Avalon might make it my aspirational vehicle of choice :).
