Hybrid Traction Battery not recharging

    Any chance the tow driver might have got the cables backwards one little teensy time?

    My neighbor who is a AAA guy is also a seasoned car repair person, and I watched him connect the front battery connection but did not see him connect the 12V battery….although I did see the 12.3 reading from the 12V battery ….I’ll try to connect battery charger again.

    12.3V should have been more than enough to start the car, assuming the voltage doesn't collapse when a load is applied.

    You might start by looking for a blown fuse.

    Thanks! I was just going to report my news. It seems like my key fob was and is the problem. I keep the key fob in my purse and it never occurred to me to put it in the key slot (before calling AAA) and neither did the AAA attendant.

    I have replaced the key fob battery but even so I no longer have the keyless entry feature and the car will only start with the key fob in the key slot. Doors will only lock by pressing the key fob. Could this be a fuse problem also? I haven’t checked my manual yet.
