  1. Limited Grade + AWD all the way. Wait, ventilated seats? Oh yeah... no more separate 12V car seat cooler

Volume up/down is on steering wheel, don't need to reach way over there. Maybe for passenger access?

Yeah maybe for the passenger but in an odd twist, Toyota didn’t flip the orientation for the Prius - usually they would.

PLEASE give us some interesting colors in the Prius line. The RAV4 and other Toyotas have had all sort of cool blues and greens and we get junk for Prius. That yellow looked great and that gray/blue with the low metallic paint is very nice shown in the big reveal video. If they are going with the "love" concept mentioned in the video, stimulating colors will take that a long way.

    Not much I’m afraid.

    Wind Chill Pearl (Pearl white)
    Cutting Edge (new silver?)
Guardian Grey (probably that grey in the video)
    Black
    Supersonic Red
    Reflection Blue

The limited color palette Toyota usually has for the models here does not help the appliance image.

    Prime color options:

    Wind Chill Pearl white
    Cutting Edge silver
    Guardian Grey
    Black
    Supersonic Red

The non-plug-in Prius gets all of those choices plus: Reservoir Blue

Here's a shot of the colors for the 2023 Camry, it shows the blue and red. they probably look better IRL than on these chips

What I don’t like is no “Smart Key” on the LE. I thought Toyota got past these juvenile trim stunts.
The other question is NOISE. For a $40k car, I hope they have done much better than my ‘15.

Several shades of grey and 2 colors. The usual. Thanks Toyota!

Thanks for the color chips. Man, what is the deal with Toyota and Prius colors? It's so weird they revved up the styling/design and completely ignore the growing public demand for more colors. I am seeing more colors in the vast ocean of gray/silver/white cars on the road and many of the color are on Toyotas.

PS: in Europe Toyota offers other models with more colors than the Prius ever got. I don't know what colors they offer in Japan but some reason they think in the USA and Europe people want, if they want at all, a Prius in a shade of grey, blue and red.

I know right? I want to see a Prius in Blue Flame from the RAV4 a couple years back. Also, what about Lunar Rock - it's a great color in that new low metallic paint type.

Here are some of the current colors I'd like to see in a Prius:
    Moondust
    Cement
    Blueprint
    Lunar Rock
    Lime Rush
    Solar Octane
    Celestite
    Cypress

Nope - none for you and for us. Shades of grey, 1 red and 1 blue. Be happy you can get a car at all. :D

In the US, Toyota is selling to the dealers. Unless they see demand for a real color, they'll ask for the greys, red, or blue as safe colors with low risk of getting stuck with a no seller. So only a few cars with colors make it to dealer lots.

Then offering more choices adds to the manufacturing cost.Toyota likely isn't expecting high enough sales to warrant more choices. Past Toyota had limited color selection on even their staple models. I remember some only having a red or blue with the greys.
Car sales in Europe are mostly by order, so color choices are driven directly by the public. Being an import that adds another 10% to the 19% VAT, Prius choices are likely limited for pricing.

Really wanted the Mustard from the Japan announcement. Loved how it brought out the smooth roof arc. If Cutting Edge is that smoky silver we've seen in some images, I guess I'll go with that. If it's just a standard silver, I guess the red is a last resort.
