Is this Brian guy a relative or a man-servant? Do you have him write it down or does he have a good memory:? :p

You are right. I golf cart mode in the parking lot. Maybe that is the problem. :)

Interesting term. Im assuming that this is the EV mode. However it should be noted that some golf carts run on gasoline engines.

I EV the last couple of miles to my house. Never had this happen. Smells fishy.

Unless your house is at the bottom of a 2 mile hill, or you have a plugin battery pack, you DO NOT ev the last couple of miles to your house. It's simply not possible.

Oops, wrong term. The car runs in on battery power with the ICE at 0 RPMs. The ICE only runs for about 10 seconds while I climb the hill. The charge indicator rarely looses a bar and remains at the same level the next morning.

Again, unless you are going downhill it's not possible to drive 2 miles with the car in EV/stealth/battery only (or whatever you want to call it) mode. There simply isn't enough battery apacaity available to do it.

Yep, you are correct. Seems like two miles but it's not. 0.4 miles coast from 55 mph to 20, around the corner and through the residential area, 0.7 miles. Then 0.1 miles up the hill with ICE and 0.1+ miles to the house with no ICE. Start out with -1 bar and end up with -2 bars in my driveway. No loss of juice in the morning. Been doing this every day for the last couple of months since I picked up the car.

I've done about 1-1.2 miles slightest bit uphill at the end of a trip on EV at relatively slow speeds, without best SOC beforehand either. It could be done over 2 miles.

Is it advisable, practical, or safe are other questions altogether. :D

Please bear in mind, I am just driving the car without pushing it. There is no conscious effort to keep the ICE from starting up. It's the way the car was designed to work.

Well thats different than driving a half mile on flat ground then shutting it off. Thats where you start seeing the bars drop overnight.

I was on a jobsite, highway 16 it is not open to traffic yet but was paved and it is hilly. i went 2.4 miles on battery power alone i went up the hills about 7mph and down them about 15mph. and did around 10mph on the flat sections.
