    None of the below.
I would put a new one in. Then I can forget about it for 10 years. Which, hopefully, I'll be dead by then!
It's nice that they will come out and change it, many many times. While you sit and wait for them to show up.
In the middle of nowhere possibly. Every week!
As you lose money because you can't get to work to make money.
And possibly piss off clients, they will go to a more reliable company because they can't count on you.

Decades ago, sears had a commercial about there tools.
"WHEN" there tools brake, you can take them to a sears store, fuss with an employee, if you can find one,
about replacing the broken tool because you don't have a receipt, even though it says craftsman on it!
    Almost every day!
That's why I bought SnapOn tools. Because they say "IF" they brake, SnapOn will come to you and replace
the broken tool, WITHOUT a hassle!

Eventually, that company will probably go out of business because they don't make money replacing parts
for free because they still have to pay the people who actually do the work.

But, it's YOUR time, it's YOUR money, it's YOUR vehicle, do whatever you want to do with them.

I spent more time and effort and money switching tools at sears in the first 2 weeks I started working
at a Mercedes dealership then I've spent replacing the few SnapOn, Mac, and Matco tools since 1985!
    Time is money.
    Again, your time and money...

Read. Sears was never a Mercedes dealership.

Not sure how you read I work at sears? Yes people like to assume things if you speak highly of things, they think you are paid or work for the places you speak of. Im just another prius owner who needs a battery and my smog is due in August.

Still, Prius is warning of hybrid battery problem with a 2 month-installed GB product. I'd like to hear how they (GB) are going to resolve this for their customer.

    Lucy posted:

I had my hybrid battery replaced by GreenBean- it is warrantied. This was a bit over 2 months ago ... now the “ check hybrid system” warnings, drop in power , come on ... but the warning triangle etc. still remain on.

Green bean replaced that battery ... but now is showing the same issue ... What the heck is going on ?

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I don't know what GB current policy is. Last year, I had to be able to answer specific questions about error codes, indicators, etc., before their Sales Team would agree to sell me a battery. The OP is suggesting that the same issues are recurring 2 months after GB sold and installed their product in her vehicle.

For my experience with GB, I purchased their product, but THEIR SALES CANCELLED IT because I complained to their BBB about the condescending manner in which my transaction was handled. They decided that they didn't want to sell to a customer who complained, so I went over to newpriusbatteries.com, and bought new instead.

Good now that it is clear people are paying attention to posts. A company has the right to refuse service and yes they ask questions about the obd codes to make sure you need a battery.

In an attempt to get back on track, still curious what green bean is going to do for their customer whom is claiming a repeat issue only after a couple of months. Was this a new problem or an original indication not addressed?
