These mats look to be the best of all the mats I've seen. I just order a set of gray floor mats and a cargo mat.

Got them in, no pics as the ones in this thread can't be beat. ;)

Very happy with the fit and coverage, way deeper then the Weathertech's I've had in my last 2 cars, and the coverage on the drivers side up behind the pedals and covering the entire dead pedal is great.

I was extremely happy with the WT's in my Accord and 4runner, I won't knock those one bit, but these appear to be just as good, and noticeably better in some respects, at a MUCH cheaper price point.

    Kudo's to Husky.

With so many folks buying these all weather mats, I wonder why Toyota doesn't offer an optional floor package to include an all rubber flooring instead of carpeting, especially for those vehicles in wet, muddy or snowy climates. The added cost can't be any worse than current optional packages, but I suppose the visual impact would turn-off potential buyers?

    Happy Motoring,

    Tom

Twittel I agree. It should be a huge profit center for Toyota to sells decent mats. The OEM weather mats are garbage. They let snow and mud run off directly to the carpet. No ring around that top of the mat.

These are the mats that Toyota offered for my 2000 4Runner. They have a large outer ring to hold snow and mud.

The worse thing is an aftermarket company called Weather Tech released mats that have no method of protecting your car from the Weather. Here is a pic.

The Husky mats seem to be the best mats for the 2010 Prius so far.

thanks for this post/thread. getting some weather around here so ordered myself a set in black. used the retailmenot coupon someone mentioned earlier: Streetside Auto Coupon Codes - all coupons, discounts and promo codes for streetsideauto.com Saved $10.

car is white with dark grey, but current mats are black and the cargo mat is black, also with black accents inside -- almost got the grey but hopefully the black is good.

    thanks again!

I like the black against the dark gray interior.

The WT mats have a pebbly texture over the entire mat, making the a bit less slippery between the big ridges. However the Husky's have more pronounced ridges so I think overall "slipperyness" is a wash.

I'm very happy with them, the fit and coverage is excellent.

I went out to check mine with the stock black mats before I completed the order and decided I liked them as well. Thanks for confirming my choice! :)
now hopefully they come soon.... ;)

I wasted money on the Toyota OEM mats

I wasted more money on the Weather Tech mats.

All your good reviews of the Husky mats are going to make me spend more money. I reallly hate those Weather Tech mats.

After dealing with nearly 2 feet of snow the last few days I give these a thumbs up with the caveat that they are definitely more slippery then the WT's I've had previously due to the lack of texture between the big ridges. I suspect that a lot of that will go away as the new-plastic "sheen" wears off.

`here is some pics with all the snow melted
mind you I was wearing my work boots, so that is one reason there is so
much water, plus 21 inches of snow does not help.
water seems to pool at the center of the mat.
Sporin- they do become less slippery as time goes by.

You DO realize you are allowed to kick your feet together outside the car before you put your boots on the mats, right?

Ha! I always tap mine on the lower sill before getting in. :)

Got my mats last night and put them in right away. Shipping was super fast from streetsideauto. I really like them, now just need to wait for more snow or rain.

Just got my Husky weatherBEATER floor mats and trunk liner. I love them! They're a perfect fit, cover all the necessary carpeting and even cover the little hump in the backseat where my daughter steps whenever she's in the car! I got the grey colored mats with my bisque interior. They look amazing. I'm very grateful to this forum for suggesting these mats! Thanks to everyone.

Oh, and I got them from streetsideauto.com and yes! They are very quick to deliver. Very satisfied with their site.

A day late & $10 short (the coupon worked) my black floormats were delivered today. Looks like this thread has sold several sets.

I just ordered a set of gray Huskies for my new silver Prius. I had purchased some clear plastic mats at Target last week, but I'll return those as soon as the Husky ones arrive. Found/used the $10 off coupon. Very happy I saw the reviews and pics of the Husky mats before ordering the (inferior) Weathertech ones. The pics are amazing, btw. Thank you so much for providing all of those details. :)

I hate to be a pessimist but I have concern regarding this picture.

Both the WeatherTech and Husky mats will gather this much water in less than a day of getting in and out of the car. When you have a puddle that big will get all over your pants, your shoes will get soaking wet and when they dry you will have salt marks all over your shoes and pants.

That large puddle of water freezes when you leave the car and becomes a small ice rink when you get back in. Once the car is started it 1/2 melts. Your feet stay freezing because it is ½ ice and slush.

This is an OEM Toyota mat from my 2000 4Runner.

It has many fin/ridges that are about ¾ of an inch high. The ridges hold the water from shifting from side to side and your feet never sit in the water. When you get in the car your feet hit the ridges instead of a small ice rink.

I find it amazing that no one has created a prefect mat for the Prius. It is not rocket science. A good part of the globe has to deal bad weather. Either snow and slush or mud and wet sand.

These are the 1st custom mats I owned. The fit is so tight that if the car was delivered with them I would have thought they were the floor.

I couldn't get the stock carpet mats out so when it gets "warm" I'll have to pull the mats & try again.
