How much is 1 gal of gas in your area.

Gas here was 3.89 last week, but now its 3.81...

 

$4.45/4.55/4.65 at a Shell station on The Alameda that I passed on the way to work.

This is really going to start hurting some folks.

 

3.85 in Jacksonville, NC

 

Shell station down the street says 4.20 for regular 87.

 

Paid $4.29 today and also got some dirty looks from an Expedition driver. Walked in and told the guy $40 on 11, he was amazed when i walked back in for change.

 

Corner Arco up to $4.25 today. I was lucky. Gassed up on Monday at an Arco down the hill at $4.11.

 

Pretty soon I will be siphoning the gas out of the Explorer to use in the Prius. LOL.

I've been home sick for two days, but last time I looked Arco was $4.19 and Chevron was $4.33.

 

It came down from $3.93 to $3.91 today here in Madison, WI. More people fill up and take off without paying. Video cameras don't help.

 

Hahaha regular was $4.37/ga this morning in Lincoln, CA.

 

Today the Arco is $4.29.

 

Same thing here in Sac. I had to drive over to get my prescription at Kaiser. A Valero station was $4.40/gal. I'm saving money and gas this week by staying home with a respiratory tract infection.

 

Nice! Guess we can both wallow in self pity while we down antibiotics. First Keflex now Sulfamethoxazole - TMP DS. LOL

Glad you chimed in though. I thought maybe I was loopy when I saw $4.37/ga. Guess I was right and that is not something to be happy about. bleh

 

Did I say $4.29? Driving home from my parents' house about 10 pm the sign now shows $4.35.

I should have enough gas to get me through the next week. I'll have to gas up one more time before the end of school. Then....a lot of staying home time.

 

Paid $4.43 at a Chevron today. Funny thing though, the pump was not working correctly and was "throbbing" so I manually controlled the nozzle to eliminate the throb. It kept cutting off as if the tank was full at about 4 gal. so I just gave up. I told the attendant that the pump had problems, and said, "it's OK, I got 4 gallons and have a Prius, I should be good for a couple of weeks".... you should have seen the chagrin on his SUV'n face!! It was worth the hassle.

Not sure if you are interested but it is now $8.80 a US gallon in the UK and still going up. Lucky the country is not to big

 

Gas is still too cheap in the US, otherwise why would people think they need 300 HP engines to speed up to 65 MPH? Here in Germany 1 liter is currently approx. $2.34, that is a little more than $9.10 / gallon Looking forward to the US gar prices again!

 

Though the UK was the highest, is diesel much higher? was the same when I got my Prius now it is 0.2 euros higher. Makes the Prius even better.

 

$4.079 at an Indian Casino (Chevron) 70 miles north of Seattle.
Around Seattle seems to be $4.259

$3.89 on the outskirts of Charlotte, NC. Moving into the more urban areas it approaches $4 but I haven't actually seen 4 or over anyplace yet.

Immediately south of me in Lake Wylie, SC, $3.81-3.87 seems normal.

On the way to Raleigh (So, primarily along I-85) I saw similar high $3.80s and 3.90s
