How much does Hybrid really contribute to mileage?

    TCH and NAH have V6-like power (160hp -> 190hp) and faster than I4 non-hybrid you are comparing with.

    Prius was tuned for maximum fuel efficiency and provide the same peak 134 hp as say Corolla or Matrix. It is a good idea but your comparison is not accurate.

    Using Fuel Economy, the automatic gets 2 MPG worse than the hybrid Camry.
