Yes but power is not the default mode. normal is. PWR can make for a quicker 50-70mph pass because the remapped throttle tells the engine to rev faster (spool up faster) than in ECO mode. Making PWR mode more lively means something has to accompany that throttle mapping, right? (just picture that curve that's been floating around the site).
Used power mode for the first time this week driving on 1-84 between Bethel, Connecticut and Hartford. It felt like having a third gear when going up steep hills. Worked great and was quite a pleasant discovery.
