Just picked up my 2012 Prius 2 MSRP $24,985 $21,488 + TTL and they beat PedFed Credit Union of 1.99% with Toyota Financing 1.9% for 60 months. I went in and picked out the light silver. They had two rows of these cars lined up approx 40 of them at least..... I guess they are blowing them out since the fuel prices are coming down... Still I think it's a great price and fuel prices are not going to stay down that long...
I got it from Manhatten Beach Toyota... Their sale went usually on Saturdays. DCH Torrance Toyota has it for the same price not including the Military discount which if you qualify brings the cost to $20988..... Check the LA Times... it's in there and applys to all their Prius 2 with 24985 msrp Autos by LA Times.... Make sure you print out the ad so there's no need for any negotiating and they have to honor the price...
Just got a 2012 Prius 4: -Silver -Solar Roof -Door edge guards -Body side moldings -MSRP $33,727 $29,600 before TTL, so about 32k out the door.
2012, Prius Four, Black/Dark Gray Carpet Mats+Cargo, Illuminated Door Seals, MSRP $29,499 Paid: $28,000 before TTL, plus got set of all weather mats, cargo tray, and cargo net. My goal was set at $27,700 but dealer did not budge - all I got was the all weather stuff. Prestige Toyota, Ramsey NJ.
Hi Jay J Could you mention the name of sales person you dealt with? Was the sales transaction hassle free? Thanks WC
I got Black 2012 Prius Three for 25300/- It has cargo net, rear bumper applique and lower door moldings. I live in St Louis MO.
Hi all - new here. I just bought a 2012 Prius 3 liftback for 26100. I'm wondering if it's a good deal? It has: remote start, illuminated doors, door guards, carpet mats, VIP security system. The MSRP was 27,638. (I live near Detroit too, close to Livonia, if that makes a difference.)
Leased for @ $275/mo. with $2500 down, 3 yrs/ 36K close-end. The down includes all tax, title, license plus any other doc fees. I'd like to know, is the price good, bad or just average for a lease?
The MSRP was close to 27k , dont remember the exact amount right now. I had to bargain and sit hard on the price (started at 25k). Lucky me it was last day of Month and Quarter (Jun 30), they did agree finally. I think it was great price and wont regret my buy. By the way It was Seeger at Creve Couer on Oliev Blvd.
Just don't make the same mistake that I did by going to Toyota of Pasadena. They should be avoided like a plague: Dealer deceptive sales practices | Page 3 | PriusChat I wish I had known about PriusChat before I bought my Prius.
I paid $26,600 including dealer fees for a Prius 4 with msrp of $29,487. I even negotiated them to cut their fee in half. Their fee was $395. I insisted on $0. We settled on $200. IMO dealer fees are just a ploy to make more profit. I always succeed in getting dealers to eliminate or reduce it. There really shouldn't be a fee. It's the cost of doing business of selling cars. Steve
Just purchased a 2012 Prius Two for $20,999 (plus TTL) yesterday. In Ithaca, NY (didn't think I could get California prices on the east coast). Had to drive a rental car 4.5 hours to get it, but overall was a great experience.
Negotiating on a Prius V Five with A/T. Dealer says invoice is $34,539. Kelly Blue Book and Edmunds both report invoice at: $33,983. All sources agree MSRP is $36,774. Dealer will take $200 off of his claimed invoice of $34,539 and waive the $80 doc fee (why should I pay them a doc fee to execute a $34k sale)? So OTD $34,339 + tax/lic/reg.. Given the great info in this forum, I see that many people are purchasing their Prius for $3k less than MSRP. I'm going to hold out for the $33,983 number, the KBB/Edmunds Invoice. Any comments/suggestions? I'm willing to walk if dealer doesn't accept offer. I'm willing to purchase today if offer accepted.
