I have a 2012 four model coming in March with leather and nav. $32567 plus tax and title. Included in price is solar roof package, lower body mouldings, 3M Paint protection film, floor mats, blizzard pearl paint and vip 3200 security system. Dealer discounted the sticker price of $34223. Seemed like a pretty good deal for a dealer that had to order the car with everything I wanted on it since he had no 2012's in (January) due to Toyota shipping later than normal. They were real easy to work with and seemed eager to make a deal more so than other dealers. How's this compare to any others, I don't know. Trading my very low mileage 2007 which is loaded for that year with leather, nav, bluetooth and new goodyear fuel max tires. Only 33,000 miles. May sell myself as dealer only wants to give equivilant of $14000 with the tax savings. White with bisque leather, and two more years of the extended warranty I bought with no deductible. They said I could cash in the balance of the warranty as you can't transfer it to a dealer, and they would certify the car anyhow. Would guess they'll try to sell it for $17,900 or more. Sad to trade in such a creampuff! Thinking of trying it on autotrader.
Scheduled to pick up a 2012 with nav/floor&trunk mats/rear bumper applique/net/first aid kit with MSRP of $26,665 for $24,600 before TTL. I'm located in LA county, so expecting $27,100 out the door. Car only has 2 miles on the ODO as of this morning. Should I ask for a lower price or is this reasonable?
From MSRP and NAV, I assume its a 2012 Prius III. I bought mine 2 weeks back and I think $24,600 is a very good price.
paid $23000 plus TL for a 2012 Prius Package 2 (white). pm me if you want the dealership name plus more info (it is NOT carson toyota by the way)
Did anyone get a 2012 Prius Five or is receiving quotes for them? I got an estimate of about $1000 above invoice, is that good?
I have the 2012 Prius V (fives) for a lot cheaper than that. (yes, this IS Carson Toyota ... but ya gotta see me)
i paid 32,900 before taxes and fees for my car, i could have probably gotten more off, but i thought the deal was okay for what i was getting.
2012 Prius III w/Solar Package MSRP: 28,050 Price paid: 25,187.69 Freight: 760.00 Dealer Fee: 199.00 Tag/Title: 284.50 MD Tax (6%):1,568.81 OTD: 28,000
What was msrp on your car? That is a very good price for Prius V 5 with tech. Can't get anywhere close to that in UT

I got a 2012 Black Prius Three Model with: * Solar Panel Roof * Floor and Cargo Mats * Chrome Lower Body Molding * Door Edge Protectors * Paint and Fabric Protectant (2 year protection) for $27,050
Baltimore, MD - I leased a 2012 Nautical Blue Prius Two with Floor & Cargo Mats: MSRP = $24,985 Purchase price = $22,974. (destination and $200 dealer fee included) Was offered this $22,974 purchase price, lease or buy, irrespective of trade-in. Other details: Residual value (45k miles, 36 months): $14,640 Money factor = 0.001 = $1,273 interest TTL = $218 Lease fee = $650 Sales Tax = $301.74 (Maryland is silly, requires full purchase tax up front on lease, but credits back full value of trade-in) Trade-in credit = $2,243 1-pay lease, 36 months, 45k miles Out of pocket cost = $8,534, or $237/month It was complicated - Toyota dealer offered to buy me out of my 2010 Prius 1-Pay lease early as a trade-in (?!): But was willing to give me Clean (pristine) Black Book value ($17,945) for my blue 2010 Prius III (base with mats, original MSRP $24,750) with 30k miles, less ($15,702) residual = ($2,243) trade-in credit. Sound crazy? Well, it only worked for me because I was trending to hit 10k miles over the original lease limits, ($1,500 penalty), plus the 2010 Prius had several areas of paint damage that would have exceeded wear & use guidelines (> ~$300 penalty/repair cost). When I pro-rated my original lease cost down from 36 to 20 months, and compared against the new net cost including trade-in credit, I was losing (~$1,800), but avoiding (~$1,800) in fees. So, for me it was a financial wash on lease #1, but sweet deal for a net of $237/month on lease #2. Plus two more years of free maintenance, 36k more miles of warranty. Was offered the $22,774 price (not including $200 dealer fee) on Carwoo.com. Hope this helps! Thought only west coast could get prices ($1,000) below factory invoice.
