Hey Asianstyle, Which dealer and who did you talk to? I'm interested in buying one for that price. Thanks
I just purchased 2012 Prius 2 Blizzard Pearl with Dark Gray interior today. It included floor and cargo mats and lower door molding. I wasn't looking for the add on's but it was the only car in the area and the dealer beat what I offered without them. MSRP: $25,414 Price w/ Doc: $22,676.87 0% financing 3yr I also have a $250 "search is on rebate" which brings the total before TTL to $22,426.87
just bought a new 2012 Prius Three with after-market genuine leather and dual heated seats, and lifetime warranty and free lifetime reapplication of "enviro-guard" (whatever that is, I bought it. Kids and pets, etc). MSRP $26,550 leather/heated seats $2000 lifetime Enviro-guard - $530 Dealer fees - $150 So total "MSRP" would be $29,230 we paid $26,700 excludes sales tax and title (state-dependent fees). This is in Vancouver, WA. Was significantly less than Costco or my credit union car-buying service could get, and less than TrueCar claimed as well. Pretty happy, I'm sure a good negotiator could have done better. Also got 0% financing x 36 months with $0 down.
I am interested in the same thing as well. Will you also send me a PM. Can you plug in your iPod/iPhone in your prius? Do you know how often the battery have to be replaced and how much dose it cost? I heard 5 years at $5000. Is this true?
Had anyone bought from Toyota of Orlando? They are advertising $22K + tax on their website New Toyota Prius Specials Orlando | Toyota in Central Florida I am not sure how legitimate it is. I am going to call the dealer for confirmation. Don't want to drive 250 miles to find out that dealer adds more fees!. Share your opinions on such ads please New 2012 Toyota Prius Two Model: 1223 Stock#: 2120195 Smart Key with Push Start, Star Safety, ToyoguardMSRP: $25,479.00Subtotal: $21,289.50Dealer Fee: $698.50 Advertised Price: $21,988.00*
This is what the fine print says All advertised vehicles exclude tax, tag, registration, title and includes Dealer Fees (*Service & handling fee of $698.50), *this charge represents costs and profits to the dealer for items such as inspecting, cleaning & adjusting vehicle and preparing documents related to the sale. Customers elect special APR program or S.E.T/Dealer cash back when available. Advertised prices are not applicable on lease vehicles. All prices after S.E.T/Dealer cash back. Advertised prices cannot be used in conjunction with special APR programs. All vehicles subject to prior sale. Prices good through Sept. 3, 2012. All vehicles subject to prior sale. - Does it mean I have to trade. They find creative ways to trap you
Based on the print, it doesn't look like there are any hidden costs. It's a very good price if it is total out the door before TTL. The one thing to note is that if you finance through the dealer you will loose the dealer cash back (~$750). So you may want to finance outside the dealer depending on the length of the loan, rate, etc. You'll really need to call and ask. The one question you need to ask them is, if I come in "how much should I make the check out for."
I called them today. They did confirm that they still have the vehicle at that price and I told them I need to drive over weekend to pickup the car. They are going to callback on friday to confirm again.
