How many watts does it take for a full charge in a 2013 PIP?

Kill-a-watt says "Displays volts, amps, and wattage within 0.2 percent accuracy" Perhaps my actual battery capacity is low. Then it would take less kWh for a full charge and the charging losses would be higher than I calculated based on a 4.4 kWh battery. However, the trips in the chart average 23.46 kWh/100 mi which seems pretty good.

Accuracy measures the average value of a series of measurements against the true value.

E.g, consider a device that results in a continuous circle of even width (implying no point on the circle is more frequently hit than another). If the true value is the origin of the circle, the accuracy of the device is perfect. The radius of the circle does not matter.

This is why accuracy and precision are both reported.

From Wikipedia, a very nice math description in a graph:

You are mistaken. Read this from another post. This corresponds closely with my measurements.

"You won't actually use 3 hours per day. It takes about 2.5 hrs to get a full charge and the last 15 minutes is at one half the amps. The bottom line is you'll actually consume about 2.6 - 3.0 kw-hrs per charge as measured on the PG&E smart meter. You'll be on the high end if you use all your EV miles, switch the HV and the battery gets drained a bit more. You'll be on the low end if you drive mostly in EV only between charges."

I plugin at Home and the Office. At the Office I partially charge before lunch, drive to lunch and complete the charge after lunch. At Home the charge starts at 5am and is complete at 7:30am

I measure both locations with Kill-A-Watt meters. At home I average 2.51 kWh, while at the office I average 3.14 kWh.

I told the Office Building owner I use 25 cents of power each day. After 1-1/2 years of Free power, he renewed our lease and added $5 per month for the added electricity to recover the 25 cents a day. My office is covering my cost and not charging me.

How many watts ? As slow or as fast as your charger can supply and the battery can take.
