How many Prius do you see daily?

Before I got "Fiona" in November, I would see 2-3 at Starbucks or on the road (in fact I had never seen a green one like her). Now that we've had a taste of spring (yesterday in the 50's), I saw 5-6 Prii on a 7-mile drive from downtown. At least 2 others live in my subdivision, and there's one parked in the teachers' lot of the nearby high school. (And one of the sub shop delivery drivers has one, too.)

 

From my suburb (of 50,000), I see about 15 to 25 a day. I have at least 10 residing within 6 blocks of my home. It is so gratifying. When I bought my '04, they were rare. Now you can't go a couple of blocks without seeing at least 1.

 

I see tooo many out here in So Cal! Just this morning I saw about 8. I have noticed that not many out here have side mouldings like mine!

 

The first week after I bought mine, I pulled into one of the left turn lanes on my way to work and I was behind two other Priuses (Prii). Three of us in a row. They are multiplying fast in the Sacramento area.

 

I usually see 6 - 7 each day when I am making the Napa - Healdsburg circuit.
Just between home and the office, 3 - 5.

On I-5 this weekend between LA and Napa, went for a stretch between Buttonwillow and Rio Vista and didn't see any? Almost had withdrawal symptoms...

I see quite a few on my commute from Fairfield to Rocklin. I still don't see any with aftermarket rims though.

 

In So. Cal there are a half dozen that park around me, while another 5 or 6 on the way to / from work. In The Flathead Valley MT maybe 2 per week.

Before I bought my Pri, I saw very few. Now I see them everywhere. I wonder how much of this is the effect of my heightened awareness as opposed to that much of an explosion (though I really DO know there ARE lots more of 'em now...but still wonder if I'd notice as much if I wasn't in one)...Ya know, kinda like how, when you're pregnant, suddenly just about everyone seems to be...(Ok, adjust for gender and use your imagination, please!)

 

I live in a Prius heavy area and see, easily, 15 to 25 Prii daily.

Here in Tulsa they are not as plentiful as other areas, but today I saw three and of course my own. Love my Prius.

My husband drives from Santa Cruz to somewhere near the huge Gorilla near 880 and 101. His is seaside pearl and he has carpool lane stickers. What's your mpg like for roundtrips over the hill.

(Even Mississippi has Prius now, my baker has a Prius c I see 3 times a week, and I see about 3 others each week, sometimes even a v)

 

Wow last post until today was 2007, pretty funny seeing how rare the Prius was back then. In Southern Cal. I can see at least 50 plus each day within a half hour drive.
