How many 2016 Prii have you seen on the road?

I've had mine since the end of March and only seen two on the road, second one today in white.

 

I don't own one, yet...but I recently saw my first two, both Blizzard Pearl! Liking it.

 

In West LA they are all over the place. I think I saw all the colors multiple times. Except for the red - just saw it once. 10 yeas ago my wife and I were playing a game - who can first spot a Prius on the PCH while walking along the beach. Now we re-introduced the game - who can first spot 2016 Prius. Just to give an idea, in 10 min of walking we saw 2! Black and dark grey. I won both times due to the fact that my wife is not very proficient in recognizing the new model yet . I saw a thread on color distribution, showing red and white as most popular. From what I see around here, it is black and white.

 

Though i hadn't seen another Gen4 since I ordered mine - four months to date, I guess I was looking in all the wrong places. I was walking the dog yesterday not two blocks from the house and my first sighting turned the corner as I was waiting to cross the street.

 

Okay, I saw my third one on the road today... and it was Silver. Funny, it was on the exact same stretch of road I saw the others... all three! It already had the license plates.

My plates came last week, but I'm not ready to put them on yet! Not ready for the "newness" to wear off! The plates came fast... because I've nearly had it 3 weeks now.

Made a quick trip to SanDiego last week. Saw three 2016s, Sea glass, Blizzard Pearl, and the Dark grey color. and compared to here at home, there are Prius every where. It was amusing. Even Prius c's were common. They are very rare here in CO.
Did see a 2016 on the road here today, first one. It was the red, which looked sort of like "Red Pearl".
There is a house about three blocks from me that has a Blizzard Pearl with a temp license. How about that?

 

At last - I spotted a twin while stuck in traffic in Scarborough. Arm was dangling out the window so no chance to flash high beams, but half raised it in a wave. Same colour, but maybe a private plate, didn't look 7 characters wide. do not know if they saw me. This would be the forum to find out though - maybe I should scroll back a page...

 

I've definitely noticed an increase in the past month. Black, white mostly but saw a pale green one the other day.

 

Saw a 2016 parked in our home tract missing passenger side wheelcover. Geez, would it have killed Toyota to mount the wheelcovers behind the wheel nuts **? That would have kept wheelcovers from falling off and eliminate scratches to the rim edges due to high tension rods.

Every new Camry has the same font end, so I have to get a rear view to know, very stealth overall.

 

I have only seen two others so far. Was looking at the sea foam color, but decided I couldn't live with it for the years I hope to have the car. I have to stand out from the crowd. Got my red two on Thursday. Loving the moonstone interior will post pics soon. 2 miles on the odometer at pickup. 789 miles until I need to fill up.

A blue one last week and of course mine this week, that's it so far

 

it's pretty sparse out there. when you divide sales by square miles in north america, and subtract california, it's amazing to see any at all.

 

It's unbelievable how many Gen2, Gen3, Prius c, and Pius v I see every day. But only 3 or 4 of the new 2016 Gen4.

(I'm very curious to see if the price comes down more significantly by December. Even the current $1,500 incentive is not enough.)

If you ignore Canada (no offense), simple math suggests that for every 30 older Prius you spot, you should see about one Gen 4.

Feels like that ratio off around here-- like you, I see an unbelievable number of older Prius for every Gen 4.

 

In just over a month of owning one I've seen only two. Both red. Or maybe I only noticed them because they were red? Actually I've seen three. The first one was 6 months ago but it was dark and 50 feet away and I had no idea what rear-end I was looking at, only knew it looked weird.

 

I now see one almost every day here in SoCal. Different ones.

 

Here in Northeast Florida I've seen one other on the road, it was a black one. Looked like a Touring since it had the fog lights. That's it. Lots of earlier models. We were in the New England area about a month ago and saw easily a dozen.
