How many 2016 Prii have you seen on the road?

I drive HOV daily from Stafford to DC. Typically see 3-5 every day. Most are dark colored. Mine is charcoal grey.

 

Excuse me please, but are you talking 2016 Prii? Your tag line shows you have a 2013 Prius and I'm easy to confuse.

 

Now it unusual NOT to see at least one each day.

 

Still virtually none in rural North and East Yorkshire. Just (probably) the same blue one within the last few weeks, nothing else.

 

I keep seeing the same white one in Newcastle, mind it will be soon be joined by a Decuma Grey one.

 

I've seen a couple "new" older models driving in the area. But still just the one gen 4. I met the guy who owns it last week. He was a pretty nice guy. We exchanged inane pleasantries and went on our separate ways.

 

Sigh!

 

I see about 4 a day now. When I bought mine in June I saw about 1 a day.

 

half a year ago I reported seeing only 1 car over and over again here in Ottawa.

Now I've finally seen 2 other more in Ottawa.... a red, and a blue, The blue looks better as the weird angular lines are not so obvious.

Now I'm I looking forward to seeing a dark grey or black....there may still be hope for me with this car.

 

Darn few; the sales have really tanked around here. However, with NJ's gasoline tax rising sharply by 23 cents per gallon to start and oil prices likely to rise soon also, I think we'll start seeing more new Prius drivers in NJ soon. If I'd not been seduced by the Lincoln MKZ 2.0H hybrid, I'd likely be one of them but it's not out of the question I'd go instead for a 2017 Prius Two or Two Eco if I decide I can't do a $40,000.+ base MKZ Hybrid.

 

I've seen more Generation 2's and 3's than the new 4 I Might see no more than 3 in a whole week.

Still only seen ONE in Devonshire and Cornwall since July
Except for the one at the dealer's, which I test drove!

 

I'm in northern California and I've only seen two this whole year. Both were white, chances are they were not eco two. Makes me proud to say I own an eco two magnetic grey

The Brits don't seem to have taken to the Prius G4 in great numbers yet. Could be supply, could be looks, could be preconceptions. Who knows, certainly north America is a much bigger market!

 

I live in the country in a redne...I mean Red state, I've seen 0 2016 Prius.

 

From what I've seen on here, it's mainly US west coast and east coast communities with the greatest take up of Prii.

 

I've seen my first today.

I do a fair amount of driving here in WisConSin too.

 

During my 18 mile each way commute everyday of the week, I see between 8 to 12 G4 Prii per day. This is in London, where an overwhelming number of them are purchased and used as Minicabs.

Parts of central London carry a daily congestion charge zone fee of about £10, but the 2016 Prius is exempt (unless it has the optional bigger tyres).

It would appear during the 2nd quarter of 2016, 1776 Prii were sold in the U.K. I would wager many more have been sold since then.

Many will also initially be purchased / leased by car hire companies and businesses as company vehicles. Then they'll end up on the used car market - and more private motorists will then get their hands on them.

My 2008 Prius used to be a company car for Lloyds Bank!

With the London congestion charge, it is an obvious metropolitan and suburban commuter incentive to use BEVs and hybrids over pure ICE vehicles. My point was just down here on the south west peninsula I've not seen many. In the summer months there is an invasion of motorised holidaymakers (like Floridan snowbirds) from the rest of UK and there are very few Prii amongst those.
