Well, when I say "New England", we took a trip from Boston to Bar Harbor Maine and back, we were on the road quite a bit. Most of the ones we saw were in Maine. :)

You mean like the Honda system where the wheel goes on, then the wheel cover, then lug nuts, with the wide plastic washers on their shanks to hold the wheel covers on? Good system, very secure, both mechanically and for thwarting theft.

    upload_2016-7-8_6-45-35.png

Still, I do not get it: Toyota's insistence on providing utilitarian alloys with plastic wheel covers. They keep doing it, I continue to be unimpressed.

Back on topic: I've yet to see a 2016 in Van. They're here, at least a few. Well two I've heard of: Tideland Prius and one other Priuschat member are tooling around somewhere. My wife claims she saw one.

We've both seen one demo on a dealership lot. It was out front for maybe 3 weeks. When I was at the dealership getting parts, I noticed it sequestered 'round the back, last time I was there. Not sure what's going on with it.

I saw 3 more in my area. Two white, and a silver one at dawn. The "Z" tail lights looked nice from a distance. Very visible. As I passed them, I noticed how absolutely BRIGHT the LED headlights were. Maybe they had the high beams on? Blinding!

    I've seen several.
I was wondering if they would look a little different in the wild than they do looking at them through gorilla glass.

    I haven't seen a Prime yet.

    My 5-cent opinion.

They definitely look different when zooming down the (wild) road. The side profile is great. The view when it's coming at you, is sleek and modern and "mean." But looking from a distance at the rear-end, the car looks too skinny? Something is odd about it.

And those LED lights... brilliantly blinding! (Or maybe it's just my older sensitive eyeballs.) I've never had anyone flash me, but now I can understand if they do.

I think they look much smaller than the Gen 3 or even the Gen 2 versions. It's odd - the insides seem bigger than the outsides...

I don't believe they exist outside of car shows do they?

That is exactly correct. When I park in a large parking lot at the store, or at a recreation area with a lot of other vehicles... I have to go hunting for my little PreEye. And she looks so small among all those huge gas-guzzlers.

Absolutely love the LED headlights, as the driver using them. The halogens on Gen3 were mediocre at best; I missed my Gen2 HID lamps the whole time.

I'm the second gray '16 in my parking garage at work, and there's a white pearl parking there, too, that still has temporary tags. I've also spotted a blue downtown, and another white in the area.

In the centre of London last night, I saw 10+ Gen 4s, stopped counting after 10. 1 out of every 4 cars on the road seemed to be a Gen 3 Prius.

Never seen another one. The only time I spot one is in a shop window - the reflection of mine.

Curiously, the 2nd Gen Prius also looks thinner from the rear too. It's all part of the wind resistance cheating design. And it works wonders

I've rocketed up to three, the last one actually being on my road.

I saw 2 today when I was out and about. 1 green and 1 blue.

The green didn't look as bad as I originally thought it did.

The blue is absolutely stunning. (y) Beautiful especially with the front LED DRL's on. The only part of the car that I'm not crazy about now is the rear end, and it must be that I'm getting used to it.

The front and side views of the car are very attractive.

I'm in Newcastle UK and have seen 2 in the last week, Pearl White and a Decuma Grey.
