My record is 120,000 miles but since the prius ice only runs part time i am trying for 200,000 miles.
Hmmmm... good question... We bought the minivan new in 1999... still have it. <----- We have a couple of other cars too... some run even, not all of em obviously. We'll keep the Prius around until something turns up even better, because let's face it, better always comes around later, then I'll pass the car down to one of the kids.
That's kinda my situation (except the growing family part). My wife likes something bigger, so she might get the v, I can go for something smaller, so I might get the C. Not sure when these will be readily available, and one or the other of us might wait until we can get a used one. Of course, by then, there will be more options on the market - maybe we'll go with one hybrid and one electric? But I'm in no hurry to replace it. Five years and counting is my answer
20 years sounds good to me. Our 92 Previa is still going strong (with our son) and I see no reason that the Prius should not do at least as well
