How do you clean the SofTex interior?

    The only issue is that Softex is not leather. I think a plastic cleaner and protector may be better than something formulated for leather.

    What that is, I don't know.

    I have to admit, I wanted leather! I had many cars with leather. I was very worried about this new stuff. After a year now, I'm impressed, I actually like it better than the leather. I certainly would get it again. Never the less, I sure did whine and doubted it at first. I simply was wrong about SoftTec leather, it's good stuff!

    To clean, vacuum, and while down with Toyota cleaner, perfect every time

    What is the toyota cleaner? Is there a part #?

    Hey everyone, bumping this thread...

    Can the Softex-trimmed steering wheel be cleaned with the same sort of stuff as the seating surfaces?

    Long as it cleans and treats vinyl, leather and soft tex, it will be fine. I use Leathernova on cleaner on the seats + steering wheel, then finish coat with leathernova conditioner. Used it on leather jackets for many years before using it on the prius.
