So this may be a dumb question but I just want to make sure, you don't put the relay back in that you took out right?

Second, can you still turn off all the lights on the car from the stalk or does the drl now stay on when the car is on?

with the jumper the drls come on as soon as your dash says 'ready'. they'll go off (obviously....) once you shut the car off.

Anywhere, even Walmart automotive section has it, AKA ignition wire.

Is called Mini Blade "Add-A-Fuse" or "Add-A-Circuit" or sometimes called "Tap-A-Fuse"
Your local Auto Stores might have it but cost alot than ebay.
Good Luck!.......btw: this is my 1st post in months!!!

You have to cut off the Blue connector and put one of these on:

Or, if you have a longer run to your tapped fuse, don't cut off the Blue connector and crimp a length of wire in between the Blue connector and the male push on terminal.

Nope, you leave the fuse tap end alone. That will replace the fuse you are taking your Ready mode power from.

    BUMP of an old post.

When I plug the piggyback fuse mod I made my DRLs no longer work. Any idea why this is? I reversed everything and they work again but I want them to stay on with my headlights. Thanks!

Look at the pictures attached on tab 3 of this thread. There are 4 pix that show clearly what relay to pull and where to attach wire.

You probably plugged the terminal from the tapped fuse into the wrong socket/connector in the DRL relay socket.
