Yes, much better than stock ones. Listen to the comparison video the OP posted at the beginning of the thread.

    @xliderider;
Do you have problems getting a safety check with those horns?
I had air horns, but during the safety check, they told me they were not allowed.
I put the stock ones back just to pass safety.
I called the DMV and they told me that air horns are not illegal to have, but they are too loud and that is why I did not pass.
    I hate these stock horns!
If you passed safety, I might look at those horns you got...

    Thanks,
    Alan

Installed a set of Hella Twin SuperTone horns. Doesn't sound that much louder on the video (amplitude compensation?) but much better in person...

I have no problem passing safety inspections with the upgraded horns. They sound identical to the oem horns in my Camry.

Do you have the part/model number of the FIAMM horns from Napa?

    Thanks,
    Alan

Harbor Freight has some inexpensive chrome horns too.

No, you don't need a relay. I wired high/low horns to the oem terminals and haven't had any problems or blown fuses.

How long has your mod been in there? How many times has it be used? Have you tried a sustained use to see if any fuses blow or wiring burns up? Checked the wiring diagram to verify the circuit?

I have a set of Camero horns on my Prii for 2.5 years. I've laid on the horn a few times & have never had any problem.

Yes you may or may not 'need' one, but it wouldn't hurt to use one. Cheap insurance to protect what maybe down stream from the added current flow. A wiring diagram would better answer if one should chance not using one. Is the 2011 vehicle wiring the same as the 2014?
Great, but for me without a wiring diagram to know the factory circuit a relay is cheap insurance to protect the wiring and anything else.

BTW, harbor freight has a set of chrome horns for $9 with coupon that even comes with a relay.

So go ahead and wire the relay. Can't hurt, as long as you wire it properly.

Thanks OP, installed the horns today on my 2012 Three.
Removing the toyota emblem made working in the tight space much easier.
My horn anchor bolt was a 12mm though.

    The new horns sound great!
