I think Steve Kou installed those. IMO, they probably are no better than the FIAMMS, but if you want to spend the $$$ go for it. ;)

Just did this mod this morning with the FIAMM's following EVPSs writeup and I must say it was very simple! Definitely a great idea to remove the Toyota emblem as it's very convenient to slip your hand through the hole to access the horns.

I've never changed out the stock horns on any vehicle and was shocked to see the size difference between the stock Prius horns and the Freeway Blasters! No more MEEP MEEP!

You forgot to mention the year and model.. I am asking for my car which is a 2012 5, not 1 2012 V. The V is a different model.

Wolo "Bad Boy" Horn. It is essentially a High/Low air horn that has a small built in air compressor. $20 on eBay. To me, it's the best horn for the money. Quite a bit louder than stock, but more than anything, a very pleasing high/low tone.

EVPV- Many thanks for the great wire-up of the horns swap - I just did my 2012 Prius and although I don't use my horn often - people will hear it now!! Great job!

Just bought a set of horns. I'm curious how difficult it will be to install on a 5 with ATP. Others here seem to have done it without much issue.

I've done it with my 5 w/ATP. The DRCC doesn't interfere, but it does help to have small hands. I was able to do the swap out without removing much hardware to gain access.

Just ordered a set. Quite frankly, I was getting tired of doing hand gestures instead of my horn. Since I was embarrassed to blow the horn I was even more frustrated by the time I could next to the offender to signal my displeasure. Thanks evpv

One of my first mods was to install Cadillac horns. Stock horns didn't do it for me.

Let the mods begin - Cadillac Horns, HID Fog Lights, ! Hubcaps | PriusChat

I purchased the four horn Cadillac system (notes A C D F) from Ebay for $65. This is my favorite mod...the horns fit in four existing tapped holes in the Prius header panel. Super easy install, used the two factory bolts and two spares I had in my garage. Great mod...nobody expects this car to sound like this.

    Before:

After (the phone mic doesn't do these babies justice...they are LOUD.

FIAMM's came this morning, out of box and installed. Thanks EVPV for the great write up. Took all of about 30 mins from start to button up. Full size car horn sounds great!

I listened to them on YouTube and they sounded much weaker. Description also says 110dB instead of 130dB

Got the horns. Did the mod in about 1/2 hour. Very straight forward. No more "meep meep" for me. Thanks again OP.
