Don't even worry - other more expensive components (stack - fuel lines - tank) will fail, before you need to think about the traction pack ... plenty of comments already on other threads about this.
coincidence - someone was wondering what the back of the Honda looked like. And there it is - from the back it kind of looks like a cross between a 1970's Riviera and a new Mercedes ... which isn't too bad.

This is a demonstration phase vehicle. Maintenance should be much higher than a new plug in today. That is why it is completely covered on a 3 year lease by honda, toyota, or hyundai on these vehicles. The fuel cell stacks are the most likely thing to fail on busses. That is the most expensive component. It shouldn't be a problem with leasers though, 3 years is a short time for these things to fail. 5 years from now they should be cheaper and more reliable. Its only a problem for people foolish enough to buy the vehicle, as the free fuel ends after 3 years for toyota, and I would think if anyone else sells these free fuel will be a limited time. Buyers will experience either fast deprecition, or if they are all crushed, possibly a rising value curiosity.

If you google Mirai owner manual, you will find very little things to do.

I read an article that said FC stacks were tested for 220k miles and power degraded 9%.
