Hey, Nancy explicitly requested help with her upholstery. I'm sure there is not shortage of people lecturing her the dangers of smoking outside of this forum. She came here for help with her PRIUS.

I am sure that smoking is her personal struggle and she will one day conquer it. Those lecturing her aren't helping.

 

There are some great Prius scenes in Weeds episodes, especially seasons 2 and 3. I think Nancy Botwin (from Agrestic, CA) drives a blue Prius, though. They do a sneaky stealth-mode drive-by shooting after Marvin gets shot in the butt and bleeds all over the back seat of the Prius.

Weeds did a nice job showcasing the car! The OP is a (creative) troll.

Maybe the OP read my boring little story and said "I'm so addicted to nicotine, I can smell a pack of cigarretes 500 yards away. But after reading The Electric Me's cautionary tale, I've decided to stock up on nicotine patches and change me life!" ...Okay unlikely but...

Listen I offered my opinion and an ancedote. All through I say #1. That I support peoples freedom to make their own decisions. And #2, that I don't like preaching. And I make it clear that's it's purely my experience and my opinion.

So lighten up...I always proceed within this forum with the full knowledge that I can be ignored by everyone and anyone.

I think that allows some discussion about the "addicted to nicotine" part....

 

I agree about allowing some nicotine discussion...

...I quite 30 years ago after 3 pack a day. I still have nightmares that I started smoking again. I quit cold turkey, and developed mitro valve prolapse and panic attacks, all caused from worrying and wanting a smoke. I'm over all that now, but I still enjoy 2nd hand cigar smoke; especially on the golf course!

 

Yes, I am sorry for leaving that out and I am sorry if I sounded self-righteous; however, most of the discussion was on how she's addicted to nicotine and not the upholstery issue. Last time I checked this was the Prius Care, Maintenance and Troubleshooting section of the forum.

To the OP: Please open a new thread in the "Fred's House of Pancakes" section for a discussion of your nicotine addition.

Well I did quit smoking, finally, and have two burns to contend with. I would rather not replace the covers if possible. Suggestions?
