Help! Prius overheating light and losing coolant!!

    Mine has, sho 'nuff, a little rubber hat pushed over that nipple. Doesn't seal it off, just prevents it from being a straight jet of coolant if it overheats and escapes.

    I agree, I wouldn't call it a "bleeder" cap, though.

    I agree that "bleeder cap" is not the correct description. It is more like an overflow tube or nipple. Below is a picture that I took of my car, which shows the black rubber cap. tapatalk_1676851745284.jpeg
